We are seeking an investigative and community reporter with a passion for investigative journalism. You are eager to explain complex events in an understandable way and have a sense for news value, pace, and how to engage a younger audience on issues related to democracy, money, and power.

As an investigative and community reporter with us, you will identify and drive investigations that make a difference in the local community. You will analyze documents, find angles, and work creatively to reach new target groups. You will use AI tools in your daily work to streamline processes and publish in all relevant formats – text, images, video, and interactive solutions. Digital publishing always comes first with us, and we highly value new visual storytelling methods. We want you to be out in the field, meeting people, finding cases, and looking for phenomena that no one knows are happening – until you expose them.

We are looking for someone with a strong commitment and interest in local journalism. You have a journalism degree or equivalent work experience and have previously worked in a news editorial. You have documented experience in investigative journalism and community coverage. We also believe that you are creative, persistent, and used to driving investigations from idea to publication. You have a good ability to build relationships and create trust with both interview subjects and our readers.

You are comfortable with digital tools and can work with text, images, video, and graphics.

A valid driver's license is required as driving is part of the job. You should also be prepared to work during the day, evenings, and weekends according to a schedule.
